Tyrone E. Keys, Jr.
Tyrone E. Keys, Jr. is the principle in the Maryland based strategic and legislative consulting firm, Arc Adaptus, LLC. Mr. Keys has an extensive background in state and federal regulatory and legislative policy. He’s represented some of the world’s best known brands, including Verizon Communications, before the Federal Communications Commission, Federal Trade Commission, and various State Public Service Commissions and federally empowered auditing entities such as Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu and Price WaterhouseCoopers.
Mr. Keys served as a legislative assistant in the Maryland House of Delegates from 1994-1997. In Maryland’s 2002 gubernatorial election he was elected to the Maryland Democratic State Central Committee and was instrumental in working with then Governor, Robert Erlich, to fill vacancies in the House of Delegates seats vacated upon the deaths of former Appropriations Chair Delegate Howard “Pete” Rawlings and Delegate Tony Fulton. Mr. Keys was then elected, by his peers on the Central Committee, to chair the Legislative Matters Committee of the Baltimore Delegation.
Mr. Keys was instrumental throughout Verizon’s state and federal 271 Long Distance approval process. Having prepared witnesses and witness testimony for delivery before the state public service commissions of Maine, Vermont, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington DC and Virginia.
Mr. Keys has represented Verizon’s corporate interests in Paris, France, London, England and Mexico City, Mexico. He has also served as a board member of the Maryland Salvation Army and the University of Washington DC. Tyrone served as a member of the Board of Directors for Keller Williams Realty Centre and chairman of the Profit Committee. In this role he implemented process enhancements designed to ensure long term sustainable profitability, even in tumultuous economic times.
Mr. Keys earned a Masters in Project Management from The George Washington University in 2001. In whatever spare time he can muster he serves as a volunteer fire fighter and Public Information Officer for the Liberty Road Volunteer Fire Company in Baltimore County.
Trae Lewis
Trae Lewis brings a wealth of political experience and relationships to the Arc Adaptus, LLC team. As current President of the Baltimore Area Young Republicans Mr. Lewis has been instrumental in building a foundation for Maryland’s Republican Party in order to bring balance to the state’s political landscape.
Mr. Lewis’ relationships are as in depth and varied as his experience and ability to produce results. He currently serves as an Executive Board Member of the Baltimore City Police Department’s Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 3. He also has served in the administration of US House of Representatives Congressman Gregory Meeks (D-Fl). He’s well aware of Maryland’s policy landscape and has even been a candidate for the Maryland House of Delegates.
Mr. Lewis’ political acumen is on routine display on Baltimore’s premiere political debate show, ABC 2’s “Square Off” and as frequent guest host on the Anthony McCarthy show on WEAA radio. Mr. Lewis graduated from Howard University with a Bachelors in Political Science.
